Has anyone got a dolly for their roadster.
Not much space to turn around in my garage.
Recommendations plz

I have two Rockets one I keep in my shed and one in the garage for the shed I have a motorcycle jack(sears) which I use with a 24x24 x1" thick plywood on the bottom of the plywood I screwed a lazy susan on it i place the wood under my engine put the jack on top of the wood jack up and swing the bike around now before the naysayers chip in about how dangerous it is just let me tell you it has worked fine for ten years and 70000plus miles.

SHOCK HORROR, thats nearly as silly as putting a square tire on ya bike

I bought castering wheels two with brakes and 6 regular a 3/4 inch plywood long enough for both
wheels to be on got some steel bars after bending and drilling bolted the wheels and the bars to the plywood all for $160 and now have a lowboy dolly to swing the bike around in the garage

There is one listed on Gumtree now from somebody in Mackay. (not me ). It appears to be a bolt together and reverse for shipping and could be what you are looking for.

EVERY CAVE SHOULD HAVE ONE. *THESE ARE THE BOMB* IF YOU ARE LIMITED FOR ROOM AND NEED TO SPIN YOUR RIDE IN ONE SPOT OR JUST ROLL IT IN THOSE 10 POINT TURN HARD TO GET TO AREAS IN THE CAVE. NO MORE FRUSTRATING STORAGE MOVES AFTER A GOOD DAYS RIDING!
This product has been well thought out and designed to make manoeuvrability of your motorcycle so much easier to glide across the floor without any struggle. The mover is load rated up to 560 kgs.
The main attraction about this dolly is the simple ride on lock in, and spin 180 unlock and ride off.
This design features extra long lock down levers at both ends which need to move outwards to secure dolly from moving. Added safety is the lock pins provided to stabilise bike from moving. Boasting 5 dual swivel caster wheels evenly distributed.

That's exactly the one I bought on E bay for $119Aud from a company on the Central Coast I got it freight Free as it was Local, Beware a 240 tyre will not fit between the guides a 180 is a nice fit and a 200 would be a tight squeeze ,a great unit on smooth concrete you can turn the bike around with one hand, I added up the cost of 5 100Kg capacity casters , the nuts spring washers and bolts ,the channel iron ,the end stop bars and the two locking devices that you would have to fabricate and painting without the time involved it is well in excess of $219, just remember no good for 240 tyres

Looks like you have the answer for RDA.

Before I purchased my Rocket, and found this forum, folks put me on to this one:

Backing down the driveway ?

At the time, I was just worried about being able to handle the bike at all.

In the end, I use the dolly all the time -- not as originally envisioned to avoid having to back the bike down the driveway (I did overcome fear and now that's how I do it now) -- rather to to nudge the bike against the wall to maximize room in my tiny garage.

I think you'll find it quite useful over the long haul.
