Slightly off topic but this is a Confederacy thread, I heard from an Alabama gal who lives over here near me that the confederate flag is banned from sale or public display? A google search mentions California banning it, is this true?
You see hundreds of em over here and nobody bats an eyelid.

The Alabama gal drives a Mini and has the flag painted on the roof just like the General Lee in Dukes of Hazard.

From what I read it's only on the Capitol Building that it can't be displayed, or sold in the gift shop. It wasn't part of California's history anyway. They weren't a state at that time. It's really a non-issue. Some people just look for a reason to be offended.

Our whole country was founded by rebels. Because they won they were called patriots, if they had lost they would be remembered as traitors. Winners write the history books.

Yes we did have ceiling fans and a space program as well as the first submarine but all was lost "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". We are an advanced civilization, meat smokers and moonshiners par excellence. All taught too us by our friends the space aliens.
