2007 Rocket III Classic
I have to say I have had my R3 for just a few weeks now and I have received more comments and compliments on it than all my previous bikes combined. I went to Port Dover (famous for Friday 13th meets) on Tuesday and stayed overnight with my son and just about every time we stopped and got off the bike, someone came over to chat. Quite amazing. Not that I particularly like the attention but it sure is nice to know I`m riding something that 99% of riders are riding (I won`t mention the brand I`m talking about but they sell T-Shirts too;))

Cheers

yea it's pretty cool when you pull up to that unmentioned dealer,
and all their customers, sportin their favorite brand of motorcycle t-shirts
crowd around your brand of bike and start asking questions.....
It's quite a site to see their faces when you pop a wheelie leaving too....
Welcome to the wild side...
from Oklahoma,
skip

every chance I get;)
Gonna go harass my biker buddies here in a minute or two this evening.
There should be about 40 of them gathered round drinking beer,
and wanting to admire a REAL MACHINE.
I'll slyly put the Gi-Pro in 3rd, and ruin their evening for them....:D

Harleys, BAA HUMBUG:p

i need to stop at the Triumph dealer tomorrow for some stuff I ordered
and guess what's right on my way.......
YEP, a big ole orange and black sign.........
one more big long wide black mark right out side their front entrance.
They should be getting use to it by now...;)

Hey J3 , you wait till you experience blokes yelling out and giving you the thumbs up from the footpath when your waiting at lights. I've had people wind down their windows in cars parked next to me just to tell me how cool they reckon the Rocket is. My girlfriend used to think it was really neat people doing sh!t like that, now she's just used to it. Happens every time im on the bike without fail. Never owned a bike that has drawn so much admiration from what i assume are non-riders.. it is neat i guess !!!

Yep, same here. My girl was one who thought it was just another motorbike - she'd never really thought about them - and couldn't believe the attention it was getting. She said to me one day that she had no idea it was such a special machine. I love it.

Where ever we go in our little corner of the globe, the Beast sure does seem to draw a crowd. When we visit the HD dealerships (and we occasionally do) we have the courtesy to not park the Beast right in the front door. There will always be somebody ask about it, however. We trudge on.

Heck, I ain't worried about hurting their feelings by parking right outside their front door.
At least they can tell their friends they saw an old man pop a wheelie on a cruiser today,
or maybe "this old fart left the longest black mark I've ever seen".
Don't bother me what they say or think,
they ride harleys, so it obviously don't take much to impress them anyway.
As far as NOT being courteous, that's just who I am, sorry if it offends THEM...:D
Yea right, sure I'm sorry,,,NOT;)
