Mine broke as well. Dealer replaced it under warranty. There was zero free play when I picked it up. I adjusted it when I got home.

It's reminding me of my '68 T120 Bonnie. Only with the Meriden bikes, if you held the clutch lever in and revved the engine a lot, the actuator ball froze to the shaft and bad things happened.

If you wanted to impress the gals, you revved the engine in neutral.
