Clearing Service Light after disconnecting battery

To reset the service interval with TuneECU:

Make sure you've set the time and date correctly in the bike's display.
Turn on the bike. Don't need to start
Connect TuneECU
From the "tables" page, swipe left to either the Dashboard or Adjustments page.
From the menu in the upper-right corner (ECU?), select "Tests & Adjustments".
From the "Test Devices" window, select "Adjustments" from the bottom-left corner.
From the "Adjustments" window, select "Reset Service Interval" then select "Run" from the bottom-right corner.
Select Km or Miles, set the desired updated service interval, then select "Validate" from the bottom-right corner.

If you don't have TuneECU then get a Triumph OBDStar scan tool, it does (mostly) what the dealer tool does. Yeah I've got one & it resets that service light and a heap of other stuff.

Hey all. Thanks for the info on the service reset. I am going to do my first oil change on 24 Rocket 3, and tracked down a couple threads mentioning TuneECU and I believe I downloaded and installed the correct app. When I installed it though, it mentioned it was created for an older version of android. Is that expected and normal? Want to get that service reminder off my screen and this looked like the simplest option. Thanks in advance for any direction. Ben

There's a thread that addresses the TuneECU and android versions. conundrum Basically if you have android 14 or older you're fine. Try connecting to your ECU with OBDLinkLX (MX, MX+) and see if it communicates with your ECU. You may have to pair your device with the OBD first.

Thanks! Sounds like I finally have a use for my old samsung phones we still have around. I will give it a try as my current phone appears to have android 15. Thanks atomS.
