HEY CAPTAINS! WHO AGREES THAT WE NEED TO START HAVING A POKER RUN FOR CHARITY ( BUYING TOYS FOR HOSPITITALIZED KIDS AN ONES THAT MAY NOT GET MUCH AT CHRISTMAS? ) IM SURE I CAN GET THE LAW OFFICE TO PROMOTE US AN IM SURE THERE IS PLENTY OF BUSINESSES THAT WILL DONATE TO THE CHARITY! WOULD LIKE YALL TO LET ME KNOW WHAT YA THINK!

could we make it part of our annual Rockets Across America?
Would expenses for the trip then be tax deductible?
Just askin.
Maybe we could get corporations to sponsor us and "pledge" a dollar
for every mile we ride and donate that money to a worthwhile cause.
Give some of the guys from further away a real good reason to make the trip...
Your idea, take the reins and pull it together, I'm all for it myself.
If we donated to American Indian kids and Lord knows most need it.
I'm talkin about tribes that don't have casinos or much anything else going for them.
bet we could get some support...
Saint Judes Hospital is another good cause that's nationwide.......

SKIP, thats a great idea! And yes ,it would be tax deductable! I was thinking also about the shriners hospital, ronald mcdonald houses an even donations for our veterans! If we do this right an get alot of the captains involved, we may be able to raise more money than any other group ever has! And we get the great feeling of being able to help the less fortunate, especially in this economy! Thanks skip, love ya doll...DeAnna

Good ideas take time to catch on DeeAnna.
Nobody thought electricity would last either or indoor plumbing.
Even the maker of the first computer at IBM said there'd never be any reason
for there to be more than 4 or 5 in the whole world.
But then there was a guy named Arthur C. Clark, a visionary who wrote about
sending satellites to beam signals around the world,,,,
call it a vision, a prediction, a quirk of fate, whatever, it still amounts to the same thing.

Another "for instance", I've got a friend, he's a hustler, and full blood Potawotamie Indian.
Got out of prison and started a trash service.
Now lives in a fine assed house. Married to a girl I grew up with.
Anyway he has all these connections with the tribes.
Got some guy who designed a closed loop system that turns recycled plastic,
water bottles, old tires, bales of shrink wrap into pure 100% useable clean diesel
with zero emissions or pollution..either in the making of the fuel,
or when the emissions come out the exhaust pipe.
I:E: CLEAN ENERGY
The big boys won't touch it.
I don't know why,, just politics I guess, everybody is afraid everybody else is gonna get a hand in their pie...
WalMart has the shrink wrap, I've worked out the logistics ,
Ernie, my friend has a landfill approved on tribal land,
and almost has the final approval to build a plant,
but no feed stock, which WalMart now disposes of by sending it to a recycler.
WalMart uses "ultra clean" diesel in all the trucks, but still don't see the logic in
taking their waste, bales of plastic wrap and turning it into fuel
they can buy back at a discount, because they'd be doing business with a "super 8A" tribe.
it's a tax write off for them, a lower cost for better cleaner fuel,keeps crap out of the landfills,
heck it's a win win scenario for my buddy, the tribe, WalMart, the enviroment, everybody,
but WalMart don't want to come to the negotation table without first seeing the plan,
my buddy don't want to show them the plan for fear WalMart would copy the plant idea and cut the tribe and him out,
so we're at a stalemate..
Dead in the water.
all I want out of the deal is like 1 cent per gallon of fuel the tribe sells to WalMart.
maybe 2 cents now cause I've been trying to bring this together for 5 years now
and ernie has been working on his end with the tribes for about 8 years...
want a job as mediator?
