I did the annual service of oil and filter change plus rear differential. Oil pan washers changed but didn't on the differential. Lesson learned, had to go back and redo with new washers because of a leak. New experience with aluminum washers, was used to copper and could reuse those without issue. Hope to save someone some frustration.

Yea the aluminum washers is new to me too, even their brake lines take the aluminum washers. Their cheap enough its just odd. Last time I just ordered 10 bevel box washers so I dont have to worry about it for a long time.

Always use new crush washers! Why cut corners for things that cheap. You can buy them on Amazon and they work fine. They are not quite as thick as the Triump aluminum stock washers, but they still crush and seal just fine. I have both aluminum and copper. I used copper on the final drive when I changed it. I used TuneECU to clear my service interval light at the 5k mark. I'll change everything again near 10k before taking it to the dealer at that point. They can do the air filter and what ever else at 10K. It may be time for tires then and it looks like the Avons are being made again and available.
