My Green Machine (born Cardinal Red) just had her 4th anniversary. I have unearthed the notes I took a few of days after taking delivery, on Oct. 13, 2004 (with TOR pipes and the associated tune):

"Impressive on all accounts, a bit intimidating at first although reasonably comfy, the handlebar needs to be re-tightened, fuel idiot light AND gauge don't work (show near empty tank after only 100 k's /60 miles???), not enough slack in the clutch cable, pathetic horn, great brakes and roadholding but disappointing cornering clearance... or am I "pushing it" ???"

All what needed to be fixed was fixed by Nov. 6 that year, except the weak horn (have since installed a Magnum) and... the inadequate cornering clearance (;) to Wilbur) but I eventually resigned myself to it.

Best. Jamie:)

So have you maintained notes all along?

I intended to keep notes for the bike, but I'm terrible at it. Even created a log on the computer here, but just never keep up with the dang things.
