Good afternoon, what an incredible day we had!
Hazel has the cabin fever pretty bad and said since Bahama is out of the hospital, let's take him out and burn a tank full of fuel on some Virginia back roads today. Our first stop was Cracker Barrel for brunch. And we did bring the boys along.
You just gotta love those rocking chairs out front while you wait your turn to eat.
Lots of food prices went up during the pandemic but theirs not so much. And always delicious. That fireplace sure is nice too.
After we ate, we scooted around the backroads for 1.5 hours and I said hey, let's get some ice cream. She thought I was joking as it is a tad chilly. I pulled into the Battlefield Country Store west of Fredericksburg, VA.
She called be nuts for even thinking of ice cream and had herself a nice hot coffee.
But I say anytime out riding is a good excuse to have ice cream!
