brought home another orphan

good point loonitick, i hadnt thought about that aspect. could be frightful! then again its a first year model that is a creampuff. tomcat, i will roll it out and give it a bath and take pics. am not looking to want any more $ for it than fair, and i know it would be going to a good home. will need new tires, they are original. scott

Vee,

That is one **** nice collection. Nice to see another 64 around, even correct year colors. The "Bobber" looks great and well done. I firmly believe the Hinckley Triples will really become somewhat collectible in the next few years. It took me quite a while to locate my TBS and even though the riding position talks to my arthritis on every trip, I just can't let it go. Good luck on your next project. It certainly appears you have the talent to bring it back. BYW, where is the VMax??????????

hello britman, tbird sport............. saweeeeet! yes, its a 64, you know your triumphs. the bobber i bought on ebay ten years ago. it barely has 200 miles on it since it was built. i am no bike builder, but im gonna give it a go with that ole yamaha thumper. i am gonna build a flat tracker out of it, put lights on it and blast around town. the first dilema is the front wheel. i have to have the hub laced to an 18, so i can put a fat sucker on the front. your 64 tr6...........NICE. scott

Veemax, hopefully you got my PM with my private email address .. don't know why my PM/ Conversation thing is playing up .. but it is. I would really appreciate some good high resolution photos of the bike. You'll have to send them to my email as the PM doesn't allow photos .. thanks mate.

will do, ill give it a bath and take pics, high resolution? what is that? i have a 30 year old polaroid camera. just kidding scott
