I have a Corbin on both my Storm and my R3 Touring. Put the Corbin on my Storm after a 1500 mile ride. Ordered the Corbin for the Rocket after I rode it home. 5'10" and 170.
 
Gina and I just rode a 900 mile trip on the Rocket with a long haul touring seat with a backrest. The seat was great for both of us. The electronic cruise control was the best accessory I've added to the bike. This was my first bike with electronic cruise and now I see why so many like it.

If you have the patience and persistence, go for it.

Just a quick comment on the Air Hawks quality and duability. I bought this one in 2012 for a 7K trip out to the west coast. I convinced two of the other four who accompanied me to get one also, when it was over they both asserted they wouldn't have made it without it. I use use it day in and out. No leaks or problems. It's mounted on the Triumph jell touring seat.
 
Norm, I measured the Corbin on my son's Rocket Classic while visiting him in Maryland. From the back of the seat to the top of the swell (where the seat rises) on the tank it measures 17.5 inches which to me makes it a very roomy seat. From the back to the point where the seat rises (the swell) it measures 13.5 inches. I can't say for certain that the Corbin for the Touring would be exactly the same but it should be close.

I hope this helps. A call to Corbin would probably give you the information you might need.
 

I made a round trip SanDiego Ca - NewOrleans and back 4238 miles with 10 riding days in 2 weeks. Me 172 lb and the mrs 150 lb
R3T + Corbin + a lamb skin with fur up (super, no sweating). Have also a Corbin on the second bike Speedmaster since 2010.

But then Iḿ also a IronBut so nothing to wonder. In my opinion FAT people have the most problems with the saddles.
 
Corbins take about 1000 miles to break in but for me they are an all day seat!
 

I have noticed that there is a dislike for the rotund on this forum. If you guys don't stop hurting my feelings I'm going back to my Harley where the other fat asses are!
