I wonder if you brought your "box" as you call it, to a local muffler shop and ask them to make you a crossover pipe if it could be done??

Im a metal fabricator by trade and building one isnt out of the realm of possibilities just figured i would try to find one first

I would say go with a Paul Bryant crossover . Excellent quality , plug and play . But you might have to wait for it a while .
