so im back and need advice. Im having a rough time finding a cat delete for my 18 roadster here in the states

i thought the huge metal box under the bike was the cat on 18 r3r

The big metal box is empty. The CATs are in the mufflers. It still would not hurt to replace that big square box with something like @Paul Bryant makes to smooth out the flow. To get rid of the CATs you will need TORS or some other aftermarket muffler.

I wonder if you brought your "box" as you call it, to a local muffler shop and ask them to make you a crossover pipe if it could be done??
