battery relocation

Has anyone relocated the battery?

It would seem to me that you could drop it down to where the stock cat box used to reside, a small sealed battery box, a you would have lowerd yoru CG a lot more and freeed up some space under the seat for other stuff ( like an extended range tank when youve removed your airbox as well)


AM I crazy? I was thinking about this a lot on my ride saturday.

that there has got to be a hidden sort of way to add a couple of gallons to have so your not forced to pull over at the crap hole stations charging 30 cents more a gallon cause they are the only ones around...

The battery's in there somewhere, but it must be pretty well hidden

I can head there.

I've got Friday May 22nd off and I was going to be heading to the Tri-Cities to clear out a storage unit, I could leave early Friday and head there while the wife leaves whenever she wants to the Tri-Cities and we meet up that evening. It's a little bit out of my way but not that bad.
 
Marcus, if its not too much trouble, Its not somethign I'm buying this minute, just somethign I keep thinking could probably work for those of us with 3-1 exhausts.

they might be able to test fit one up easily to see how close it is.
 
You make the contacts and I'll head there on Friday.

It's about 4 hours from me and I'm figuring on leaving around 9AM so arrive there around 1-2ish if that works for them.

They just need to measure stuff right?

And if you can't make it not a huge deal, It just seems that if we never get to some of these places nobody will ever make any products for ours..


I know Id defintily want one of these if I rode a R3Tourer

Let me know which one, or both.

As for why they are here, pretty common to find the adventurer type stuff here in Washington, we're the gateway to the Yukon and Alaska.
