My Rocket is on the stand and the wheels are off. The gas has treatment in it. My Intruder is rideable and full of fuel, but between weather and work I can't run it often. Oh well. This is Virginia and they say...."if you don't like the weather here, wait a minute".
In North Wales we have potholes connected by tarmac - covered in leaves and salt. If it's not freezing it's persisting it down and the wind is really rough. Oh the joys......

Still have Snowmagedden here in SW Idaho. Subfreezing temps. Bike hasn't been out since late November.

I couldn't take it anymore. This thread made me feel guilty enough to go out. The truth is I was on my local Triumph dealers site and found a 2008 B King with 265 miles. Wow. I have always had a thing for those bikes and never had one. So all morning I was trying to convince myself I should buy it. I was even on a couple of B King forums to check them out. I showed it to my wife and she said take your Rocket out to play for a while, that should settle you down. I thought she meant something else. But she made it clear what she meant. So I took my Rocket out. It is around 42 degrees not too bad. No shrinkage. The Rocket runs so great in cold weather, its like having a cool can on the fuel line. She was right, I am not so interested in the B King anymore. She knows how to kill my throbbing imagination when it comes to so many things these days. 30 Years does that I guess.

Just delete a few words & sentences, in order, this was what your subconscience was really saying

You have too much time on your hands. But that is great. Your imagination is a little off. Off is the best way to describe it.

I had an 08 B King with 4000 miles - quite liked it until my wife - who was following me - said it looked like a mini moto toy under me. Never really thought of it the same after that..

How big are you? It's a good sized bike. Well maybe it is , it is only a 60" wheel base. I think my 5' 8" frame would fit well aboard that B King.

i too had a tuned b/king for about 4 years many mods what a bike,i took the rocket out 2 weeks ago then left it in the garage the rains not a problem to me but when i went into garage yesterday, boooooom, the wheels look like cotton wool.triumph you should be ashamed of the **** alloy you biult the wheels with.
i will need tyres soon,so intend to powder coat the wheels.the bikes just over a year old.:(
