My T-rex light screen is a bit small and is already beginning to split at a screw hole. I'm curious if anyone is using this one that retails at $435 (yikes). My PowerBronze screen was pretty tight to bars and didn't really allow for a proper radar detector placement. When a screen's $150 or so I don't mind rolling the dice, but at $435 I'd appreciate any feedback. TIA Steve

Probably if you want a proper screen, need to switch to the corbin solution.

The problem with this bike is that the mounting holes for the windshield are so low because it's not a sport's bike or a cruising bike. It has some solutions for cruising and some for sporting, and unfortunately, the screen solution is purely for sport on this bike. Those mounting bolts are so low that you can't really put on any good screen that would be high enough without it being somewhat un-safe.

As you have seen with your own shield, yours is tall enough that when you ride fast enough, the lever transfers the force down low. Those bolts just can't take it, so you would need a much thicker screen, which probably might not fit. Basically, there are just no good solutions.

That's why you need something absolutely custom, kind of like made in you, so to speak. Unfortunately, the Corbin solution is the only one that's viable. There, you can change out the actual transparent portion of it to anything you want, because those, I think, are older, like 2014 Harley screens (if I remember correctly) of sorts that they are using there. So you can put low, high, and smoky, or whatever you want. The customization has a wide variety simply because it's a Harley item. You don't need to have an issue as you're having it right now because the mounting points are much higher, so you won't have the same problem you're having right now.
