Another one gone

Not to mention at night it's pretty difficult to gauge distance. Even harder to gauge a motorcycles distance

Now all of us at work who ride are planning on meeting up and riding to his funeral. Thursday late afternoon. Senior rider leads. It is just such a waste. No reason for it other than a guy on his bike out riding his ability and a drunk who runs a stop. Turns out the kid who ran the stop also left the scene and his mother turned him in the following day. Seen a picture of the punk. I firmly believe he should be made to attend the funeral. Two wrongs do not make a right but if the kid could eye witness the results of his decision to drink and drive it might just shake him up enough so it is not repeated. Leaving the scene while intoxicated has become real popular here in Oklahoma. I have no love for such actions. Yes i like my beer on a day off and drink way to much at times but never get behind a wheel and drive in that state or ride. Just a bad deal all the way around. Please folks be careful and safe. A tragic accident like this can really wake a guy up and make you double think about safe riding habits.

Just a update. The guy who ran the stop was intoxicated. He pleaded not guilty. Has multiply DUI's. Must have a good lawyer his next court date is in Dec.

There are old pilots and bold pilots, but very few old, bold pilots. Sorry
