Hey Guys,

Just traded a Harley Roadglide for my latest Rocket. This is the second one I have owned. The first was one of the first delivered in Indy and had lots of issues. Dealer worked hard to get them solved but I got tired of waiting. It was Red.

The one I just got is an 05 with 2200 miles on it and is silver.Still has the idle issue but the dealer has been taking care of it. I think he may have a handle on it this time. Said if not he will replace the throttle bodies.

After you ride a Rocket for a while a Harley leaves you wanting. A friend had this one and he wanted my Roadglide so I came out well.

My wife has started looking for her a Rocket. She rode the Red 05 to Florida and now wants to buy her another.

We have a Goldwing Trike with a Hannigan conversion for long trips and My wife still has a Harley.

Rocket's forever!!!

You made a good trade

Welcome IndyBill. Hopefully this one will meet and pass your expectations for power, handling and over all sore face from too many grins!

Are you still among the employed? If so, what type of work. Always we enjoy some background on each new member. You never know what things we'll have in common.

Yes I still work. With the market doing what it is doing probably till i'm ninety. I am 62 and am a sheet metal contractor. I have been a motorhead all my life and raced go karts and UMP modifieds for a lot of years. Also had a Super Comp dragster for a couple of years but it was too boring. I have owned six Boss Hoss's and numerous Harley's and lots of metric bikes. Just sold a M109r.

I am also a six year breast cancer survivor. Men get it too so do your own exams also.

Love all kinds of racing and we ride motorcycles. Rode out west this summer and did 5850 miles in 16 days.

Have a great day

Welcome Bill! Don't feel bad, we will all be working until we're 90, (or drop dead, whichever comes first). I think I saw a Unity Equip ad that said "You're going to be dead for a long time, you might as well buy our parts now"! That's kind of the way I feel about the Rocket... get the best before I croak!

Enough of that morbid crap :D.... See you around the water cooler!!
