Rocket GT Chrome Edition
Been riding since I was 12 years old. Mostly Hondas and Harleys. I'm 64 now, but I figured I'd come over to the dark side and see why my brother liked Triumphs so much. And besides, the Chrome Edition reminds me all that chrome on my Harley. I know that'll get you guys going!

Actually, what impressed me most was the salesman. He not only knew the bike well, he owned one. And the bike before that was another Rocket 3. And the other 8 bikes in his garage are also Triumphs. And his wife rides too... beside him, not behind him. He truly loves his job and this bike. So how could I say no?

Welcome. Got any pictures of this gleaming beauty?

Like any other old guy with technology, I ain't da greatest photographer in the world. And the weather wasn't very nice yesterday, so you get the "showroom" version of the bike. I'll be picking it up this Tuesday when I trailer it home. Hey, it's wintertime in Pennsylvania. So if I did things right, you can view the pictures that I took yesterday here: Rocketeer – Google Drive

I like the look of the chrome bikes. My concern is the sun reflecting off the tank into the riders eyes.

Welcome. Have you even driven it yet?
Sadly no. Said yes just yesterday, but only took it around the parking lot. Rain/Snow and 30-something degrees was not conducive to a good ride, but I've owned several bikes in my years and I could tell I was going to enjoy this one as well. I pick up on Tuesday... in the cold... using a trailer... oh well.

I wondered the same thing, but I never watch where I'm going anyway. Oh well, dark face shield, dark glasses, and keep my head up.
