I've not seen any instructions with any of the accessories I've bought. I'm pretty sure Triumph assumes you are having the dealer install it. If it's not from Triumph then you get instructions, but usually nothing too technical.

One thing to think about, you will need the stock bolts for the fender rails not the ones that hold the saddle bag brackets on. Your dealer should have these, if not he should get them for you at no cost. If you hit a snag there go to bikebandit.com and order them.

I have the saddlebag instructions at home...I will scan them and email them to you if you PM me with your email address. Maybe there ought to be a sticky for these kinds of things.

And those bolts strip like a son-of-a-gun. Be very, very, carefull.

I've equipped my Rocket with quite a few Triumph options. I have to say that either the instructions are non-existant or they are often WRONG. I have found MAJOR mistakes in more than half of the instruction manuals.

Your best bet is posting your questions in the forums.

That isn't my experience.
I guess I haven't installed the right Triumph accessories... The only thing I can remember coming with instructions on any of the factory accessories for any of the three Triumphs I own is the alarm that was on the 1200.
