50 States ranking for motorcycle ownership

Perhaps you could lease the bikes in the summer to import farm workers or drugs in Arizona or as catch vehicles for the Maricopa Sheriffs Dept.

I guess it happens everywhere that it doesn't snow often, and has lower taxes comparatively.

Exactly why I left Florida. When you can't hunt wild hogs in Green Swamp or Richloam WMA's without runnin into yankees or seeing them cruising Ocala Nat'l. Forest its time to go. Now they're here in WNC, like an insideous plague. Real estate should be cheap up there but the taxes they left behind will kill you. They managed to bring those to NC with them.
 

Well, the hogs haven't slacked off any, either.

You can hunt 'em pretty much anywhere now; even on the side of Hwy's 50, 98, 41 and 19 (plus the interstates and the Suncoast Parkway).

There's even gangs in Spring Hill now; compliments of those of the "northern persuasion" that moved down here, and brought along all the worst of what they had with them.

At least they can't afford the prices and taxes to live out here on the waterfront properties (and the gang bangers damm sure can't)!

105f is about the most I can take here in AZ, so that rules out about 3, almost 4 months. The reflected heat from the road is like a convection oven... I would not trade for snow though...
 
I ride every day. Even the 120F days. Sure I collapse and pass out when I get home, but those are some of my best afternoon naps. I only drive a cage if I need to move something that doesn't fit in the bags or I'm driving my shuttle bus that I own just for moving a lot of people around during big events. I'm the guy everyone invites to sporting events and such since we only have to park one vehicle for 15 people and we can tailgate inside the bus.
 
this ranking seems strange...i now live in south dak.. i find it hard to believe...must be because of sturgis

i grew up in tucson az till about 1988 and it seems to me that the quality of riding there was WAY WAY better than the flat ass square mile section grid like boring roads that make up most of so dak

i remember riding saguaro natl. monument ..riding to the top of mt lemmon.. and running from the campus cops around the U.of.A..

we would fill up our gas tanks and just start riding ..rode alot of stuff that i had no clue where we where...i miss those days and that type of riding

best riding around so dak is gonna be the black hills...wich is really nice but after a few rides you pretty much seen it...
 
Be thankful that you can ride no matter where you live; that's my thought. Being conforatable is a safe bet and I try not to push those riding with me beyond their level. I would love to make fun of those who have a cut off highor low temperature but you know, that is not what binds us as brothers and we jab at each other enough online. Now, when I meet up with some of you in a pub somewhere, i may rib you then for whimping out when the air get around 120F, but online I'll pass for now.
