    Dash warning symbols

Hi, it is most probably just the Fob out of range or Fob low battery which seem to be a relatively common fictitious warning thrown up by these bikes........just carry on what's the worst that can happen ?

    Quick-shifter stopped upshifting

Hi, that sounds exactly like what happened to mine and it needed replacing under warranty but funnily enough triumph wanted the quick shifter returned to base so they could do diagnostic work on it because apparently they just don't fail. New one in place and all going good

    GT quickshifter clearance problem

Hi, I am using the quick shifter in the forward position on my GT also from memory I had to utilize one of the extensions behind the right hand side cover to get the correct extension but it is doable

    Burnt on fabric softener!

Hi, I get black spots on my pipes and I Don't use fabric softener ....I find if you put some Mineral Turpentine on a rag it cleans off the spots . Not sure if your spots are the same as mine but it may work.

    Battery Choice

I tried to go down the motobatt route but they didn't have one to fit in the hole that wouldn't require modifying the brackets that fit nicely in the recess the original battery has in its top so decided against replacing it for now....I wanted to put the yuasa in my mule which had a bad battery.

Scratching my head over these new Triple Blacks....

Hi Tal you better pull your machine off trade me then before someone pulls the trigger on it and you are stuck for another 250 days waiting for something you are not happy with

    Looking at luggage purchase

I'm looking at buying some luggage from Triumph to fit my 2020 GT and have noticed that the mount that attaches to the bike appears to sit over the area where you can put your key or fob on the left side of the bike to start it if your fob battery is flat. Could someone that has a set of luggage...

    Tire Pressure

Hi I find this quite an interesting take on an age old problem....three weeks ago I replaced both tyres with new cobra chrome and the tyre technician introduced me to his interpretation on tyre pressure which puts 40 in the front and 38 in the rear. His rationale was around the front doing the...

    Fuel reserve

Hi there, I may be an expert on this subject according to my wife as she was the one who brought me the gas tank when my tank ran dry after doing 47k s after the balance went to zero....I normally do around 30kms on a zero reading but had a slight detour before getting to a petrol station which...

Rear luggage worth the money ?

Hi that bracket looks like it is placed over the exact spot where you put your key to activate the ignition when your fob battery dies if so does it still work?

Recall for 2020 Rocket 3 Rear Brake

Hi that recall seems a bit strange as just last week triumph replaced my ABS unit under the tank because they believe that is where this issue is coming from.....hopefully the 3k part and 5 hours of labour wasn't a waste of time

    Quickshifter

That's interesting as I have a quick shifter on my GT also but 6 weeks ago mine had a meltdown and doesn't go anymore. This has to be replaced under warranty but they are unable to get a replacement one in so it looks like I'm using the clutch for the foreseeable future which really sucks...

    Rear brake fail

My rear pedal also went to the floor ....tech seems to think the fluid is boiling so put some high temp fluid in and after 800kms it is already starting to get spongy, may be back to the drawing board to fix this issue. I can't believe this problem never showed up when them test riders rode the...

    Foot peg adjustment

Mr Mike the thing missing from your bike makes the linkage under the foot pegs longer so you don't run out of adjustment when you shift the position rearward so one must think your pegs are at the extreme rear position as all the extensions are fitted, without this fitted the gear lever may hit...

    Paint and finish concerns

I agree with the road tar theory, have you tried to clean it off with methylation spirits or mineral turpentine dabbed on a rag ? As for the paint missing from the exhaust that will most probably be something you will just have to live with

Lifting gas tank on a 2020 GT

Hi, no the seat has been removed and I was thinking along the same way about the fuel lines but that would make spark plug changes and maintenance quite an issue.

Lifting gas tank on a 2020 GT

Hi I tried to lift the gas tank on my GT today and it didn't, want to budge, I removed the strap and the bolt under the front end of the strap and removed the instrument cluster and the tank would only lift approx 150mm. Are these different to the Roadster in that instance? Trying to connect a...
