  1. Check Engine light and Possible Fuel Delivery problem.

The turbo was installed on the bike before I bought it nearly 4 years ago. It is not a new addition. It has been running great. The turbo kit is a boostisgood turbo. Has it's own piggy back computer similar to a power commander. The bike was dyno'd then the computer sent back to the turbo...
  2. Check Engine light and Possible Fuel Delivery problem.

My check engine light is on. I tried the 12 minute tune deal but that didn't correct anything. Under a load it feels like it starves for gas, then picks back up, then starves again. If you hold the throttle at a certain point it will do this over and over. It idles fine. Only does it...
  3. New Turbo Filter

just curious, how much of an improvement is the garret over the aerocharger. Like I said, I got a noticeable increase in boost when I changed the filter design on the aerocharger. I've seen my boost gauge go up to 18 when I hit it hard. Before 12 was about tops. Not sure how accurate those...
  4. Installing Heated Grips?

as i recall, mine came with a relay also. They were fairly easy to setup, hardest part was threading the tiny wires through the right places. Someone here may have a copy of the installation instructions, i'll look around.
  5. New Turbo Filter

That picture was just for reference for the type of filter. From bryans website. The first & last hardley I owned was when I was 12 yrs old. 2 stroke 90, made in italy. My turbo is on a 2005 triumph rocket
  6. New Turbo Filter

I have one of the first Bosstisgood turbo kits on my rocket. Well now after several years and a few speed bumps; the original filter was just falling apart. While the boostisgood website sports pictures of replacement filters for around $50 that match my style exactly. In the real world, they...
  7. Corbin Seat Question

I have a solo fast gun corbin that does have the latch pin from the factory. I have assumed that only the larger seats do not have the latch pins. I also have a dual tourer that I have added my own latch pin to. Works fine.
  8. No drive power to the rear wheel

The new clutch has a much stiffer pull than the old one did. Barnett must of changed the design quite a bit from the early ones. I never noticed any decrease in spring pressure since I've owned the bike. The bike had 1500 miles on it when I bought it. The barnett clutch was added at the same...
  9. Where can I get a barnett clutch

Sounds familiar. I should have mine back from the shop Friday. Hopefully. I am sponsoring a charity run and would hate to have to ride my old adventurer, especially 2 up. That bike seems so tiny after being use to the rocket.
  10. Where can I get a barnett clutch

I called the company direct and convinced them to sale me one without getting a dealer involved. Beats the heck out of calling all the dealers in NC when no one stocks them. Which is what I have found out.
  11. Where can I get a barnett clutch

I am looking for a place that can ship me the barnett clutch fast. Does anyone have them in stock?
  12. No drive power to the rear wheel

I'm gonna try the barnett one more time. The one in mine was the prototype and lasted 10k miles. They changed the design a bit since mine was purchased.
  13. No drive power to the rear wheel

Found it Well, the clutch was the culprit, all of the discs were burnt bad. Nothing slipped, it just went out all at once.
  14. No drive power to the rear wheel

Yes, it goes through the gears since you can go 1 down and 4 up. The neutral light comes on as well when it goes in neutral. If it were the gear actuator you could just press down or up forever.
  15. No drive power to the rear wheel

Warp: from your description, there is no way it could be the lifter shaft in my case. Since the bike will not move at all. You can put it in any gear and start it up and it will not move. My bike has no drive whatsoever. It's in the shop now.
  16. No drive power to the rear wheel

I am able to shift through the gears with ease without using the clutch lever. The gears are engaging because I can go through the 1 down, 4 up routine and the neutral light comes on where expected. As you say; The clutch is an exercise in nothing. I've decided not to dig into it myself...
  17. No drive power to the rear wheel

Yes, the engine rev's freely. There is no resistance, no load on the engine at all. If it is the clutch, then it is completely disengaged. As if the pressure plate exploded. As I recall, mine has one of the very first designs on the barnett clutches. I think they changed it some after the...
  18. No drive power to the rear wheel

This evening I had her up to about 110 and was just changing gears and tje rpms shot up to redline and I was coasting. Motor was running fine, but no drive. Felt just like I had the clutch in. There's no unusual noise, the gears seem to change fine. No drive power being transfered to the rear...
  19. 04 Rocket OK?

04 rocket It is my understanding that the rocket III came out with 2005 as their first model year. The 2005 rockets were first available in July ish, of 2004. I have one of those rockets myself. It is a 2005 rocket and it came with a certificate signed by the president of triumph stating that...
  20. The dreaded oil discussion.

I know! Oh No! Here's the oil study again. No really just thought I would pass on some information. I have a rocket with an aerocharger turbo. I decided to go with 20-50w amsoil oil due to the extra stress of the turbo and the mild climate I tend to operate my bike in. My exhaust headers glow...
