I'm in Alberta, I hear you, we're feeling it.

    Oh yeah, another oil question!

Hey all. Thanks much for the input. I think I'll give the Rotella T6 a try, see how it works for the next little while. At its current sale price, hard to pass up trying.

    Oh yeah, another oil question!

Hello all, been awhile since i've been on but with me being finally able to get my bike on the road, quick question. Why does Triumph recommend synthetic, or semi-syn oil? My initial assumption was probably due to the long oil change interval. But is there any other reason? I need to do an...

    Signal light issues

For my rear signal light, it was simply the metal contact tab (that touches the contact 'bump' on the outside of the metal part on the bulb) was pushed into the socket. I just used a pair of needle nose and pulled the tab back. You just have to be a bit careful inserting the bulb into the socket.

    Infamous Ignition Switch Issue

So just for my own clarification, this is regarding the key ignition switch, not the button on the handle bar? As well, is it still an issue with newer models? Or should I be looking at this EB fix for my '15 touring?

    Topbox / Trunk

I try to keep my ball bearing hauling to a minimum. I was just thinking that a good sized case was close to the load limit, like that Givi E55 is around 11lbs by itself. I wouldn't be carrying anything heavy anyways, so I guess its a moot point really, was just curious if anyone had any issues...

    Topbox / Trunk

Been reading this post and now like the idea of having a removable top case. Although that harley one looks right at home on this bike. But my question is, doesn't a top case exceed the maximum recommended weight of the luggage rack? The sticker on my says no more than 15lbs. My Saddleman...

    Headlight position/parking light

I'm assuming you're refering to the single position/park light bulb? Initially I did remove it. The bulb/socket was attached with a connector so it was easy to remove the 4" or so of bulb and wire. After the first issue I had with the led headlight popping fuses I re-connected the bulb and...

    Headlight position/parking light

On my 2015 R3T the headlight is an H4, and the aux lights are H3 bulbs. Of course, I am making the assumption that our bikes are identical being only a year apart. I just upgraded (?) the aux lights to LED. One of my Aux light bulbs burned out, and they are $15 each at the dealer. However I...

    Headlight position/parking light

I put in a Vision X Vortex XIL-7RD. I added the module that will keep the low beams on when you switch to high beams. Very good light output. There is a motorcycle version, the XMC-7 which puts a bit more light right in front of the bike to get rid a bit of a dark area as the one I have is...

    Headlight position/parking light

What kind of running lights do you have? Ok so looks like all low draw items you attached to it. I don't have a fifi that I'm aware of to power either. Also, the auxiliary lamps, are they deemed 4 or 4.5 inch? I measured and to me they look like either way. Just want to confirm before i...

    Headlight position/parking light

Hey guys. Just a quick curiosity question. Has anyone powered anything off of the position/parking lamp wiring? Now with my LED headlight I have the wee bulb taped up inside on the topside of the headlight bucket, but was considering making use of that wiring. Anyone with an idea how much...

    New problem: won't start!

Hmmm thats good info. I don't think thats the case this time, as the socket for the parking light "wire/assembly" didn't appear to be positioned to short out and i did ride around a bit without issue with the old headlight minus the park bulb. But since you mentioned this I am going to plug that...

    New problem: won't start!

Hey all. Just an update on this. Turned out it was my LED headlight I had recently installed. Must be defective I guess. Have to contact the manufacturer yet. But it was the cause of blown headlight fuses and the bike not starting. I had the original headlight assembly nearby while I was...

    New problem: won't start!

Hey guys. My bike won't start. Bummer. Was about to go for supper, started the bike just fine. Idled for maybe 30 seconds then i realized i forgot to unlock my saddle bags. Shut the bike off. Unlocked the bags, went to restart it and no start. Turning the key on, the bike made all its usual...

    Minor clutch adjustment

Yeah, at the moment I'm missing having a hydraulic clutch. Been looking for a thinner lever and only found 1 supplier. $160 on ebay. Not cheap.

    Minor clutch adjustment

Ok, here are a couple of pics of the other end of the cable. I can always remove that mesh cover for a better pic. I am interested tho in maybe replacing the clutch lever with an adjustable one. I'll have to scour amazon and ebay. Thanks @Fingers for the tire feedback. Its good to know there...

    Minor clutch adjustment

Yes that is the lever the bike came with. I'm at work right now, on the road, but will snap a pic of the other end when i get back to the shop. Union break for the win.

    Minor clutch adjustment

Hopefully you can see the shifter in this pic. Just the stock non-adjustable shifter. I thought about a 'thinner' shift lever too actually. The New Bonneville website has a set but it'll cost me about $180. Where did you get those levers Mittzy? Also just a quick side question. Can you run...
