Running Rich (the bike, not me) & Faltering Idle

I'll do both a new tune (recommendations? (TOR's & Cat Delete) and I'll bump up the TPS. What method to TEST the MAP, other than swapping? Dave I thought you tried swapping yours out at Maggie Valley?

Running Rich (the bike, not me) & Faltering Idle

OK, here's the deal...over a stretch of 300-400 miles, mostly back and forth to work, I noticed my fuel mileage began to drop. During this period of time the idle began to go lower and rougher, until it reached the point where I had to keep the rev's up when I stopped, otherwise, it would stall...

    The darkside is wonderful

Dunlop must not know how to mold a tire. This Dunlop front tire , with 2,000 miles started to separate at mold joint. Ask Warp9.9 if there was any compromise in following me in the turns at Maggie Valley. Keep 36-37 PSI in the rear CT and see how that improves handling. Behaves no differently...

    A Voice From The Past

Wow, now that is a real blast from the past. It is good to "see" you again, and even better to hear that you still have your bike.

    MaggieValley, the aftermath,,,,,,,

Warp, I believe the tire began breaking down after our Sunday ride, about the time we achieved warp 6.2 going into that one curve... I thought I was going to do a stoppy on my Rocket.

No, nothing wrong with the brand, only that production lot. I've run that brand and model before without issues, so have many others.

    MaggieValley, the aftermath,,,,,,,

Only 2500 miles on this tire. I prayed that it hold until I got home, or that I did quickly and painlessly when it failed. It was a mold defect. Dunlop replaced the tire, I only had to pay 1/2 the installation cost. One hell of a way to get a low cost new tire.

    Polishing Wheels

If your desire is to get them to look like polished chrome, then you will be disappointed because the high magnesium content of the cast alloy prevents such a look. However, you can come close if you use 500-grit wet-or-dry sandpaper to remove all traces of the machining tool marks, then polish...
