    Yes...it comes with brackets to align perfectly with the original quick release fairing mounts.. But, not quick release any more...4 bolts and off it comes...very straight forward..

    My '09 R3T had 4k on it when I bought it in '10...got 51k on it now...mostly used in work commuting, DGR, PGR events...and some charity fundraisers...love it...

    ...added a batwing from Reckless...new wheels, pipes, and paint...had the wheels chromed...waiting on new bearings for front wheel and seals for front forks...next is new rear shocks...

    ...aftermarket wheels for R3T....?

    ...anybody got a source for aftermarket wheels for the R3T...?...I've been looking, to no avail...considering buying some stock used (straight) wheels and having them chromed....thoughts...?

    Overheating....

    ...it was just a blown fan fuse...I swapped the fuel pump relay and the fan relay and the fuel pump still came on....replaced the fuse and ran it for a while and the fan came on....I ride with a BlueTooth helmet and sometimes I cannot hear when the fan comes on.....or when it doesn't....

    Overheating....

    My '09 R3T with 50k miles has recently started over heating, or, at least activating the hi-temp indicator on the instrument display...cool weather so far here in Austin Texas, 90F tops.....problem only evident at slower speeds or in stop/go traffic....coolant tank is full, so I'm thinking water...

    Old vs New

    I've been on my '09 R3T for 15 yrs and still love it....I had the tranny rebuilt after the shifter-spring busted and that detonated the rest of the tranny....I may get it repainted one of these days... That being said, I'm looking at a particular Boss-Hoss....
