    Exhaust Popping - running lean?

Got a bit bored this morning and removed the TOR system and cat converter bypass, refit the cat converter and fit the original pipes. Started to bike up and it seemed to be running smoothly, took it for a fairly quick run for about 40klms, taking the bike up to about 160kph - no missing, no flat...

    Exhaust Popping - running lean?

Thanks you all for your comments. I will post some photos of the exhaust and will check what air filter is installed also. Will need to go over the exhaust to check for leaks and will check who might be able to run TuneECU. I was told yesterday by Triumph Aust Rep that I should be able to locate...

    Exhaust Popping - running lean?

I purchased a 2006 Rocket 3 a few days ago and rode it home from Brisbane to Mackay. The bike appears to have the aftermarket pipes and the catalytic converter has been replaced with the (I think Triumph cross-over pipe?). The issue that I have noticed is that at deceleration and driving slowly...

I'm back on a Rocket III after having gone over to the dark side and rode a Road King for awhile.

Thanks mate. I've got plenty of room for the GPS. Don't particularly like the clamp on mount that comes with the Zumo so might work on that a little and have a plug located up front for quick disonnecting the whole thing when not touring. Cheers mate...and stay upright:cool:

G'day gwilliams290.. I've also got a Zumo 550 that I had on a previous bike and want to mount to my R3T. Previously I routed the wiring under the fuel tank directly to the battery with an in-line fuse, pretty simple process really. I'd be interested in how and where you intend mounting your...

    Handlebar Riser Install

Pull-back risers vs alternate bars G'day crazyman... I've just purchased the R3 Touring and find (being vertically challenged at 5'4") that I'm hunched forward while riding and really have to reach forward when performing U-Turns. Am therefore considering the risers; or if anyone knows of...

Anybody ride a new thunderbird yet

First Ride on T'bird last week I went for my first ride on the T'bird last week. I sat on a prototype in March at Penrith. I was impressed with the handling, smooth gearshift and engine response. Cosmetically the bike is fairly bland and the first thing you do when looking over the bike is...
