    Western Australia Mechanics/Tuners

Forgot to mention the 2015 Rocket X motor was reading 120ish at the rear wheel and the graph was all over the place nothing smooth about it at all. After Justin had finished it was reading 149ish at the rear wheel and the graph was pretty **** smooth.

    Western Australia Mechanics/Tuners

Picked the R3 up from Pro-Twin in Wangara, Justin has done a great job. It runs well in comparison to before even on the short blasts I have had, can't wait for the Perth weather to improve to really test it out. To all the WA owners, I recommend Justin at Pro-Twin, great customer service...

No worries, hope the shoulder settles down have had both shoulders fully re-constructed and it took about a year for both to settle. But you will reach a stage where you are glad it was done.

    Western Australia Mechanics/Tuners

Well I can assume that we do not have many, if any in WA that other owners are prepared to recommend. Or they just want to keep them for themselves? Well I have booked my R3 in for check over and Dyno tune on the 4/6/19 and will share the results with all of you after it is done (Maybe)

    Western Australia Mechanics/Tuners

Ok, it's time to ask the question again to All Western Australia based R3 owners. Who do you use and recommend to Tune / twirl the spanners on your R3's, whether you have modified your bike or left it standard. Do they work with aftermarket equipment such as PCV or Tuneboy? Dave in Toodyay is...

    Perth Mechanics/Tuning

Thanks Rocket HP Would you have any contact details for Pedro ? I am not far from Waikiki it would be nice and easy to get there. At the moment I have only found Justin at Pro-Twin in Wangara, prepared to work with the Tuneboy ECU. As I will be trailering the bike there it is a whole lot easier...

    Perth Mechanics/Tuning

Ok Rocketeers a couple of questions :- 1 - Has any one installed a PC5 on a bike with a Tuneboy fitted, if so what were the problems if any encountered and were the results worth it. 2 - Those of you who have the PC5 installed on it's own, are you happy with the results and what type of gains...

    Perth Mechanics/Tuning

Dave in Toodyay no longer in operation as he is working away. Any other recommendations of someone in Perth to do Tuneboy dyno tune on my R3. Everyone wants to sell me a PCV and tune for around $1250 AUD, but are not sure how that will interface with a Tuneboy, sounds like throwing away dollars...

    Engine Changeover

LED lights & indicators ordered, some powder coating arranged things seem pretty good. Then a short blast on the R3 before surgery for full shoulder reco, got home with the satisfaction that the roadster engine went well. Then I noticed the rocker cover gasket gremlin was raising it's ugly...

    Perth Mechanics/Tuning

So it comes down to we only have one place to go in WA, especially if you have something different to stock. I will have to sweet talk the bride into making a few trips up to Toodyay, as everyone south of Perth that's any good is into Pwr Commanders not TUNEBOY.

Anyone got a way of cleaning up pitted chrome, will powder coating on the header shield survive exhaust temp ?

    Engine Changeover

Baffles worked a treat, licenced and legal. Straight home and Baffles removed, Jardines are singing as I head off for a quick blast. Starting to notice some pitting issues on chrome, after many years of just standing in the shed.
