    Gear Position Sensor parts

Mine is a 3 wire. I think I have been thrown off by getting an incomplete kit and then a wrong sensor. Dealer parts people don't seem to know.

    Gear Position Sensor parts

Thanks for the help. Here are some pics. The engine number is 3607115. I do have the service bulletin and am fairly sure I need the upgraded kit. The new sensor fits but no corresponding plug on the harness.

    Gear Position Sensor parts

I am having issues with getting the correct Gear Position Sensor for my 2014 R3T. I have a lower engine number so I need the "upgrade" kit. First they sent me the spares kit p/n T1296589 which did not include a sensor. Then at no charge they sent me a sensor p/n T1190814. My issue is that the...

    Afternoon stall

The last few days when leaving work my 2015 R3T has stalled within the first 30 seconds of riding. It has gotten much warmer this week. No issues in the morning when the temp is cooler and no issues after the first 30-40 seconds. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Pulling rotor assembly

I am at trying to remove the rotor to get to the stator. I have the OEM tool to pull the rotor. My question is how much torque is needed to get this apart? It seems like I am using a lot of force without any movement, I don't want to damage anything.

Swing arm Castle nut removed. 1 1/8" socket ground down a little worked perfectly. Not the prettiest grinding job but hey it works!

    Help removing oil tank

I am stuck! Any trick to removing the oil tank? I've removed 3 bolts. 2 big ones that go through the tank and one on the back bracket that attaches between two throttles.

    Stator help

I read the thread that describes that method. I am going frame off. I have printed the manual pages and am using it as a check list. I am not sure what you mean by "drift".

    Stator help

I am not a mechanic but manage with the manual. I do have a motorcycle lift for the engine and a rig that will lift the the frame. I do a bit of my own wrenching so I have torque wrenches and other tools, nothing special for this job. I've been buried in the threads and manual contemplating...
