    When you say it didn't run right, can you explain. Mines had a problem since new, when I'm engine braking. If I pull that clutch in during a hard engine brake, it will fall flat on its face and die. I had it in while under warranty and that reset the TPS, but that didn't seem to help.

    If you fill the filter one time to the threads and let it sit, the filter media will soak up the oil. That's all you need to do.

    Yea, it's actually a 6 quart system. But I've always used 5 quarts and the dipstick always shows full.

    Yea I did wick the filter. No, I don't have a tune boy or a tune ECU. I disconnected the battery and let it sit for 10 mins and when I hooked it back up and started it the check engine light is gone. Beats me on what it could be. Every once and awhile when I start this thing it hiccups a bit...

    Changed my oil today and when finished, I started the bike, it ran kinda rough and then a check engine light came on. Used 5 quarts of Castrol power RS 4T racing oil in 10w40 and a Triumph OEM filter. Any thoughts? :(
