Update, the engine management light has returned to its normal setting after about 5 starting cycles. Can’t ride due to CV 19 lockdown but thought I’d share with you for future reference. All ended well.
Cheers
Hi no I don’t so I don’t have a code. Just wanted to make sure it was safe to run the engine. I will let it idle see if the management light goes out. Were on lockdown so not easy to get out for a ride to see if it settles down. Thought it might be a sensor not liking the fact I drained the...
Hi looking for some advice. 2014 Roadster I did an oil change and made a basic mistake undoing one of the bolts to the oil gulley to the scavenger impellers. The one just behind the front sump plug. Oil drained out I then completed the normal oil change with the correct three drains and filter...
Yep, semi retired myself will try a season on the Roadster but I go to a lot of camping rallies and I like to be comfortable. Panniers and a big bag on the back with a chair. Not to mention the beer. Let’s see how it goes
Spent two years working in South Africa. I worked in the Blue Bulls stadium in Pretoria for 5months so the Bulls are my favourites. Of course the All Blacks are the doggies. Can’t wait to get the bike on Friday. But winter in the North Pennines can be sporting.
Found a place called Dragon Motorbikes in Durham. Dyno shop and seem to have all the answers mapping direct into the ECU. Let’s see how it goes.

Haha, yes you love the Harley’s but then got to admit I like that look.
Bought the rocket, this will make you laugh I have never ridden one. Didn’t test ride the one I bought just walked in saw it, bought it. Hope I like it.
Hi thanks for the reply.
I made contact with Dragon Motorcycles who have the dyno kit. Reckon they can sort me through the bikes own ECU with mapping.
They were recommended to me asking £325 and need the bike for a day.
