    I agree wholeheartedly - I just want to meet and greet and look at Rockets, mods and ideas. Been on too many rides where I was the only Rocket .... sick to death of Squarking Chickens and riders who book a service to have a fuse changed. Just happy to pull up at the Pub, look at rockets;)...

    All sounding great, The Motel is a bit out of town. The car park at the Pub does have two entrances but its not a metropolitan area. Stayed there once and I was the most disreputable person there....... The dates look great for me, ride up fri 14th, a quick 700k day.

    what about the pub, its in the centre, semi secure parking, motel type rooms and beer comes out of taps in certain parts of it. killer thai around the corner, bakery down the street, surf club about 100m - they have beer as well.

    Wow, last time this was happening I was setting off around Aus and missed, this time I'm going to Ride Vietnam ..... if its a weekend in the first three weeks of October I'll do my best to come down off the mountain. I would love to be somewhere where there are a lot of Rockets at the same time.

    Yep, about the same, though this year got screwed by having to take experimental German drugs, missed Melbourne to Darwin a month ago and will miss Blackdogride to the rock. Planning a Kununurra sprint in March. 7500k there and back. I just love what Rockets do!

    Once, only once has my bike been to a Bike Shop .... at 20000K I booked it in to let someone else have fun with the valve service stuff. When I picked it up he said that it had an old tune and he had downloaded a new one. Bloody thing went like a scalded cat, so I was happy. Just hooked up...
