Hello everyone, I am a 221 version Rocket 3 owner from China.
I had a problem with the paint peeling off my motorcycle.
The affected area is located on the windshield bracket between the two headlights. I don't know if it's moisture or some kind of corrosion.
Have you experienced similar coating surface issues in this or similar other places?
I'd appreciate some help. Thank you all.

Moderator, I apologize. When I posted, I typed in English, but for some reason, the input method automatically translated it into Chinese and posted it. Thank you for translating it back.

That doesn’t look like paint peeling. It looks like damage. It looks like the screw that’s beneath your damaged area between the headlights may have been over tightened and split or cracked the area you see. I may be wrong as my wife says I usually am. A more mechanically knowledgeable member can assist you further. It does look like crush damage though. Good luck. 👍

I agree, its not paint peel, its aluminum damage

You're very welcome. Luckily I speak fluent Chinese. Just kidding, I cheated. And welcome to the forum.

I don't think this is caused by aluminum damage. If it were caused by a bump, I wouldn't be curious about it, because the paint here was still good a while ago. I discovered this issue during the last wash. It looks like a white substance has formed on the aluminum, and the paint has cracked from there.

Thank you for your reply. I believe I haven't tightened the screws below yet. It seems more like it's caused by corrosion?
