is E85 compatible really needed ? E10 or E15 at worse is all we can use. I most always buy Ethanol-Free gasoline.

Napa has the right ones for $13 or Amazon has two for $8. I had the wrong size; 7.89mm is the right size, or 5/16. I'm doing the 45° to get a little more room so maybe I don't snap it off. You do you I want mine E85 compatible.bikes now are E85 ready and don't need ethanol free older bikes that use regular gas need ethanol free no. need to spend the money on ethanol free. .Just saying.

Okay, I got it. It fits. The angle of the dangle was a little weird, but it fits, and I can loosen the hose clamp very easily without lifting the tank. I just had to position it just right. It was $13 for two. No leaks yet, I'll keep you posted. Got it at Napa Auto parts.

Tracy after fitting the 45 degree fitting, do you think the 45 is better than a 90 ?

The 45 gives me more room to take it off, but the first one was either defective or I must have pinched the O-ring when I was trying to put it on because it started to leak. So, I removed it and used the other one because it comes two in a box, and so far, so good. No leaks.

I could even use this with a 90 and maybe make it easier to disconnect when pulling the tank and changing the air filter or the spark plugs or whatever

I had a 2021 Indian Challenger that needed the tank removed to change the air filter also. Indians’ design was to place the fuel line disconnect on the side of the engine making it much more accessible, piece of cake. Indian encourages doing your own maintenance. The Rocket’s design seems to call for having a spare quick connect everytime the tank is removed. I haven’t had to remove my Rocket’s tank yet, but I am a bit discouraged. It seems like Triumph doesn’t like us doing our own maintenance.
