2.5 Quick Shifter self install and/or shop rate

Quick shifter installed. Works great! Rode about 100 km with it so far. Using it all the time now. Smooth. Little notchy when off throttle at lower rpm, but not an issue. Similar to the KTM shifter had on my 1290 SD GT. No regrets. Could be cheaper by half price though.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that if I have the tiniest bit of throttle open it gets notchy. I don’t have to go to minus throttle (like turning off cruise) but definitely 0. I’m getting really good at buttery-smooth up shifts though. The cost was definitely an ouch but I really enjoy the difference it makes!

Installation by an authorized Triumph dealer would probably be warranted but your own would never be!!
Save some $$ and take your chance!!
Silly, in my opinion.

hello
while changing the starter on the Rocket 3R, I shielded the battery and the quickshifter. Now that I put everything back together it gives me this error! I have already cleared the error with the computer, but the problem still occurs?? do you have any ideas??

thanks

There's really only two things that will bring that error up as far as the TSA is concerned: the gear position sensor so the ECU knows which gear it is in (which means the neutral position and gear position adaption must be re-done), or the shift force sensor on the gear lever that uses a hall effect sensor to determine up and down movement, and that might need to be re-adapted as well. Pretty sure they can only be done with the Triumph dealer tool. What "computer" are you using, and what actual error codes can you see?
