Afternoon all ,,
A little advice needed,
Couldn't start , turned over but no fire ,
RAC turned up checked and tried brake cleaner tho airbox and she fired , recovered to garage as he gave up .
They found that water drain near full cap was blocked letting water into tank , my fault for not noticing how much , cleaned tank and fuel filter all ok now ,,,
Comes to.issue now the drain is blocked with i bet rust on the 90bend in the tank , the garage tried but was concerned if they damaged it they would be responsible for tank ,
Does any one know the best way to free the rust blockage ,, they have tried with compressed air and flexible wire .
Thanks In advance ...

I stripped off the plastic from a curtain net wire. The wire itself is wound like a spring and is very strong and flexible. This was on another bike. You will have to see if it fits on these tanks.

Cheers will have a go when I get the bike back

where to start?
it is more likely to be a crimped hose or wrong hoses (hoses on tank switched)
The water drain hose is the front hose about 5/8 inch long and drains water to the ground. if the front hose is kinked or plugged with dirt it will not work.
anyway lift the tank and pull the front hose you can blow on the hose to see if it is plugged you could also use a small drill with pliers to clean the tube out of the tank.
also i think that the other hose will have water in it if it still has the evap canister so it might be necessary to clear the other hose so it does not pull water into the engine.
also i think i have the experience to answer any of your questions.
