    Mounting / dismounting

    The GT is hard to get on because of the forward controls. I have a GT, but with the R pegs. I get on like you would with a saddle stirrup. Left foot on the peg then stand on the peg and swing my right leg over. Can't say it is dignified, but it gets me there.

    I just called them, and they CAN'T lower the seat on a 2020 Rocket 3 GT. The guy said it's because of the pan. All they can do is change the padding. Oh well....

    California Scientific Windshield, Anyone running one?

    Bought it, it cracked. Got a replacement, that cracked. Vendor would not refund or replace again (as per the terms). Mine was gray smoked. I have heard that the clear ones don't crack (or at least as easily).

    It's not listed that way anymore, but, as you said, it still shows both part numbers. I need to get back to my guy at the dealership to see what he has found out about the two part numbers.

    I took print out of that fiche page over to the local Triumph dealer. The salesman, who I know pretty well, says he will talk to his contacts at Triumph about it after the holidays.

    I found this: Sidestand. Triumph Rocket 3 | Engle Motors, Kansas City MO And.. it shows BOTH kickstands. The shorter one is "CN only"... HUH? Whylee , are you in Canada?

    I think I will wander by the local Triumph dealer with a tape measure.. and see what is going on!!! It's very nice (my opinion) that they shortened it.
