  4. Late model vs early model oil tank

    I have a 2009 rocket that according to the triumph website is fitted with the later model oil tank. I understand that it is different from the early oil tank in the outlet area, but not sure exactly in what way. Anyone have any more info? Thanks Simon

    Can anyone tell me if the gear actuating arm (the lever actually attached to the splined shaft coming out of the gearbox) is different on the roadster compared to the standard/classic items? In pictures I have seen it looks slightly longer on the roadster..... Thanks Simon

    Yep it's the whole oil tank. Bit peedev to hear the throttle bodies need to come off! Any idea which one is the oil tank sump plug! Thanks Simon

    Oops, need to update my signature. Now have a 2009 standard rocket with forward pegs. Last bike was a 2010 registered classic (prob manufactured in 2008)

  14. Clutch drag/clunking into gear

    Well, it's all back together and the difference is amazing! doesn't creep, doesn't slip, can actually change into neutral from 1st or 2nd gear without turning engine off and I have a couple off mm free play as I'm supposed to. Thanks for all your help chaps Simon
