    OK...dropped my brand new (to me) 2008 R3T off at the dealer (Motohio in Columbus) TWO WEEKS AGO to get the damage from a shipping incident repaired...very minor..bent shifter rod and linkage...tried calling last night and the voice mail would not take any more messages - not a good sign...

Hey Lester, Kmutt and Atomsplitter: Thanks for your replies and the great advice...although it appeared to be an easy fix, I trailered it over to the nearest Triumph dealer to have them give it a good going over...one of my biggest concerns being that something might have been damaged...
