  1. messed up ECU ?

Now I have an O2 eliminator I don't need. I'll keep looking for anyplace to plug it into... maybe ? :-)
  2. messed up ECU ?

Hmm I figured this would be controversial! :-)
  3. messed up ECU ?

lifted the tank again and found a vacum hose had slipped off. What should the tune constant for the 02 sensor be when using an 02 sensor eliminator? Thanks Roy
  4. messed up ECU ?

Pretty sure the rest of the wiring is OK, not disturbed. But I was busy under the tank at the same time, so I better check for anything loose under there. ++++ Yes, TuneBoy constants are for 02 sensor removed. I think the 02 sensor eliminator "simulates" an 02 sensor with a constant reading...
  5. messed up ECU ?

No error messages. It successfully retrieves the ECU serial number, current tune type, etc... The tune is based on 20050. Thanks! Roy
  6. messed up ECU ?

I removed the O2 sensor when I bought my Mad-Dogs. Ran sweet for months. I read it was preferred to use an O2 sensor eliminator but didn't see where to buy one at the time. I found http://www.british-customs.com/o2-sensor-eliminator.html and plugged it in. The Rocket wouldn't start or...
  7. Neolite Lights installed on my Classic

Love the profile of the Hella 500s. Wish they came in chrome. I put some HPLED lights on my Tiger. Super, but again not available in chrome. Cheers Roy
  8. Neolite Lights installed on my Classic

Yup... I'd prefer something smaller but would have to be chrome finished HID and so: hard to find and expensive. I'll convert these to HID when I get the kit sometime next week. These lights are 5" diameter. The main are either 7" or 7.5" I think.
  9. Neolite Lights installed on my Classic

The two lights share a relay. That "chip" was made by my cut-off wheel when I shaped the brackets (on the bike). An otherwise inexpensive project.... My wife kept saying, "Don't be too upset.. lot's of bikes have chips etc.." When I did the deed I kinda laughed.. somehow avoided being...
  10. Neolite Lights installed on my Classic

For years I've looked for driving lights for my classic. It's not that easy if you don't like the Triumph lights, don't want to spend a bundle and only want chrome. Mounting the lights is a challenge too. I've been running a pair of PepBoys $29.99 rectangular H3 units for a couple of years...
  11. Touch-up Paint ?

    Thanks
  12. Touch-up Paint ?

Anyone know if Triumph has it? Another source? I'm looking for something small, intended to fix a chip. This is for my '06 Classic, Red and White What is the paint code for the white ? Thanks Roy
  13. speed triple gear shifter for r3

My Classic came with the Triumph boards. Looking at my bike, the link between the heal-toe shifter is pretty long, the distance between the surface of the board and the shift-rod is at least three inches. I can't visualize a side view. Won't a Speed Triple shifter have a steep down sloap...
  14. Easy driving light install

Hi, It's been a while since I posted so... A ways back I bought some really cheap auxiliary lights for my Rocket. For a year I had them mounted to my Rivco crash bars. I was never very happy with the look or function. These were about the cheapest lights I could get at the local auto...
  15. HID Headlight Conversion

Once I started cutting how much patience I had wasn't very important. I am really pleased with the nice bright lights now. The high-beam seems very yellow. I have to say I'm no good at all aiming the RIII headlights though. Up and down is no problem. Right to left though.. getting them to...
