    I have no idea what that means but couldn't the cap have blown because the fan fuse blew and the heat built up because of no fan and that made the coolant expand and pop the top?

    Can't get at the bleed screw so I did my best without it for now. Refilled. Fan seems to be working at the moment.

    Could I for instance use : Prestone 50/50 Antifreeze Coolant. How many gallons would I need if it were low/empty? I don't mind buying more than needed just don't want to end up with less.

    You guys think I can walk into Kmart and pick up from the automotive department coolant? Do I have to drain any remaining coolant or can the new coolant be mixed with the old? Sorry for such simple questions.

    Thanks Guys! Looks like the fuse was blown. Looked discolored compared to what I assume are extras at the end of the rows. Substituted the "fresh" one with the old one. Had some trouble checking the coolant level but will try checking again once I get her into a garage.
