    Lost my nut

    Today while I was I doing a spring shakedown ride I was getting off the highway when I realized that I couldn't downshift. The problem was that the nut that holds the shift linkage to the shift lever fell off. Has anybody else lost there nuts this way? :)

    Well I went ahead and got a pair of the saddle bags and they seem pretty well bilt. As I suspected though, I'll have to pick up some neoprene for the back side of them. I'm also looking into locking options just to keep the opertunists out there honest.

    They say that there is little elastic pockets for the D rings to stow into when not in use and i figure a little neoprene pad should keep the bags for rubbing the paint. Joe:cool:

    Has anybody had a chance to try a set of Kuryakyn Gran Throwover Bags. I only do a couple trips a year where I need saddle bags and was intrigued by the claim that these bags didn't require any supports. Any info, good or bad would be helpfull. Joe. :cool:

    I have an 08 R3C and I notice a vibration in the mirrors above 3000 rpms. Nothing that heavy bar ends wont fix. This is only my opinion. :)

    Skip, I puchased the Cherry Red/New England White. I know, it's the slower color. ;) The reason I bought the Classic over the Touring was I wanted all the horses.     I just traded my 03 Sprint ST for an 08 R3C. So far the thing I'm intrigued with the most is the Darkside. I've only 1000mi on the Rock but have already found a place that has no issues with mounting a car tire on a motorcycle rim.
