    Sidecar tug build

DMC is history, a call to Texas Sidecars may help out now that they are working on the parts of DMC they purchased. I know they have done two Rocket IIIs recently, mine being one of them, so they can help with the setup and may be sympathetic in cleaning up some of the DMC issues. Dana

    Sidecar tug build

Sorry to hear your troubles with DMC, there is a reason they are shut down now. Texas Sidecars bought them out and they are a really good group to work with, would be worth the time to give them a call and let them know what is going on. They have been working on correcting some of the DMC...

    Rocket 3 Windshields...or windscreens...or woodwinds...or whatever!!!

I bought the Madstad windshield for mine and I love it. Very adjustable and comes right off if you want to ride without it.

    New R3 Sidecar Rig

That is the tire that was on it when I got the bike but I always ran the ME888 on my BMW GS sidecar rig and loved it. Hey Jan, missed you in Hotchkiss, we still need to talk. As far as I know that is the stock seat but the PO added a lot of stuff so I could not swear to it. The seat is fine...

    New R3 Sidecar Rig

I finally got the call that the rig was done and ready to pick up. Flew down to Waco, TX and Kent from Texas Sidecars came and picked me up. A little road test, final payment on one my way back to Western Colorado.

    New Owner

Hey jeeptrix I am in Western Colorado and I currently have three sidecar rigs plus a 2006 Rocket III Custom that is down in Texas getting a sidecar installed. I cannot answer R3 specific questions but I am not bad with sidecars in general. Dana

    Foot board master cylinder

A follow up. The changeover went without a hitch. As stated in the last post the only difference was the hard brake line and it is about an inch too short. The hard line on the bike originally has enough bends and twists that it was easy to carefully reshape it to get the extra inch without...

    Foot board master cylinder

Same with the left side so I am thinking I got a pretty good deal real reasonable.

    Foot board master cylinder

Thanks guys, I kind of figured all of that so I guess I got lucky since the breaker just unbolted the bracket and disconnected the brake line and shipped it all in one piece.

    Foot board master cylinder

I have been riding my new to me R3 and I just cannot get comfortable with the pegs so I am putting a set of foot boards on it. I have run foot boards with heel/toe shifters on other bikes including my old KZ1000P and I really love them. Found a breaker on ebay parting out a 2006 R3 and got a...
