    TomTom Rider

The best point about TomTom Rider, is that you can use the free download TYRE to create bespoke routes, which is perfect for touring days, or complex routes where you want to avoid major towns and take in specific twisty roads, etc. This is what I mean: Google Maps (http://maps.google.co.uk/)...

    Wonderful Weather....

.. when I was there the week before last, I told them that their web site was crap; it needed 'decent' images of 'all' colourways for 'every' bike, plus vids, better dealer locator, yadder, yadder. They said it was 'being looked at' (unconvincingly ;)) but ultimately the web aspects are shipped...

    Summer Screen vs Touring Screen

Thanks Jeff, good feedback. It's all pro's and cons and swings and roundabouts. I think, on balance, I'm most likely to try the Triumph summer screen to start with, and then if necessary change it for something smaller or larger depending how that fares.

    Summer Screen vs Touring Screen

You eat and drink at 90 mph? Jeez, whadyado for an encore? :D

    Summer Screen vs Touring Screen

.. no it does not. It only requires a view of experience of either screen; if someone has tried both, or owns/owned both even better :) I like the look of the fly screen, but a proper screen is likely to help kill some of the cold in lower temps, particularly at higher speeds. The summer...

Double figure viewings and no responses? You get a much better standard of replies on other 'sulky' web forums! ;)

    Summer Screen vs Touring Screen

The pro's and cons of each for the 6ft 2" tall, 200 lb average male Rocketeer. Discuss!

Pic of a monochromatic red please?

Sounds like the cheap seats are anything butt (geddit! :D ) I saw the secrebluecarracus colour (note: 'u', it's French you know ;)) on Saturday. Nice, but doesn't float my boat personally when it comes to prising open my wallet. Also saw the red/blk Classic (still crated), which is being...

Pic of a monochromatic red please?

Thanks for the pic, Piggy. There certainly seemed to be more black and red at the Triumph factory and I have to agree the white tank makes an enormous bike look like it's been super-sized again! A red and black Classic it is then. I like the hand painted pinstripe too. I didn't see it this time...

Pic of a monochromatic red please?

Thanks Pig9R, I didn't find the stock seat uncomfortable on the two short rides I've had on a Rocket, however my wife didn't find the pillion too comfy and a lot of folk on the forums complain about the stock seat. The Classic seat looks far more comfortable, and a better shape for more support...
