rocket three x
Been thinking about upgrades in the Exhaust and air on the Rocket X. Had to step back a bit and think about the suspension. As it sits now the motor produces more power than the suspension can handle especially in tight cornering. Wilber shocks and springs are next. Then maybe some upgrades. Made the same mistake with the Harley Fatboy. Got the Harley to out run the suspension and almost bit it. Not planning on making the same mistake twice. Common sense and experience is a good teacher.:D:D:D:D

It's where I started, only 3 miles on her and already new fork cartridges and rear shocks, now if only the snow and cold would leave, blizzard this coming week:( actually the rears aren't here yet, was 3-6wks delivery, those Hagon folks probably on holiday again:cool:
The traxxion cartridges got here in 3 days,:D hmmm, from Georgia I believe, course it's warmer down there

can't wait ! will just have to keep out fitting her, lowers, shield of sorts, it's a good day to dream, 0 degress outside right now, but lovely and sunny:)

hoopla

Anyone who buys a bike or a car usually has one thought how the hell do I make it go faster? but working back arse wards can bite you in the arse - if you want it to go faster make sure the vehicle can handle the speed your first plan should be to check and if needed modify the brakes, check and if needed modify the suspension check your tyres then think about making the vehicle go fast.

Check.

Variation on the theme.

When I used to run in time trials, all the new people would discuss how they could get more power to go faster.

When asked, the more experienced drivers would tell them: "There are three things to go faster, in this order: 1) driver skill; 2) better tires; 3) more power."
