Just trying to expedite this some . . .
1) We should choose a location
2) Rolling or no?
3) Month and days?
I have no bias and shall attend wherever is chosen.

I voted for the route thru Montana where we will probably break off and head to Alaska

and how do you plan on going to alaska?

if you are riding all the way up I strongly suggest for scenery main road # 3 west through BC north to
smithers then new hazelton and turn north on the cassiar highway ( the best scenic road) via dease lake iskut and the border with yukon where you catch the alaska highway if you decide to visit Atlin lake at that point make a side trip to skagway the road is very scenic.

or go to vancouver and board the ferry inside passage to juneau.

my vote in preference #1 Nevada maybe parts of cal./#2 south Dakota, Wyoming,Montana hit Idaho on way home ? #3washington ,oregon being selfish here ,colo.,Utah, arizonia

Since you put it that way. I'll opt for the second route.
I wonder if you can get a bike on the Princess...
Did Hwy 50 in Nevada chasing after a bunch of Victories going cross country in July.
An experience worth replicating, at a more logical time.
