What is this cable?

Not sure if this is stock or if this is something the dealer added (for my GPS power)?

It runs from the left side brake caliper along with the metal brake line and up under the yoke.

It is clipped with a cable clip that seems to fit as needed but it's a flimsy cable and looks like a decent stone would be the end of it.

Any one know what it is?


 
ABS - ECU cable?

I find it hard to believe you're the only one
I'll try to remember checking it out as soon as the dealership calls with the good news mine's ready for delivery bext week (hopefully)
 
On mine too .. and on my Speedmaster 1200. I think (as suggested) it is to do with ABS.. there is a slotted disc that it looks at on the wheel, think it measures wheel speed to activate the ABS when needed (at the very least)
 
Ok thanks all.

I wasn't sure what it was and the way it's routed suggests it's under or near the radiator so I thought maybe it was a mistake.

Sounds like it's normal and expected.
