What? ....got scammed

Something similar happened to me in the corvette forum... I was lucky that the forum administrator blocked/ flagged the original account that contacted me before I was able to iron out the deal.
Be careful, they are praying in the forums now and they can post silly things just to get the minimum count needed to do more advanced things

Sorry to hear your troubles man. Facebook is full of them. It's easier to spot on FB by checking the profile. What I can't believe is they all want to sell you a R3 seat - what does that say about our asses

I would never in a million years buy anything off Facebook or Instagram, it's almost 100% scammers, and Meta couldn't care less, they won't even take down obvious scams if you report them. If it's a product I google it and buy from a different site, but that's not really applicable to your case.
