Got mine at 30 and feels goooooood

I have a 2010 touring exact same tire as you have and I have set it at 34.
I tried it at 30 and found it too squishy and soft for cornering, I had it at 40 and had the same problem you had.
I am happy with it at 34 and would never go back to a motorcycle tire.

I have the same tire as well, I run mine at 38 because I thought it felt to loose and 34,
