A 2010 ... was it a new leftover?

Sure hope you didn't deplete your cash on the purchase, you've entered the next phase of R3 ownership .... ACCESSORIES! I'm just a few grand short of buying the bike twice with all the goodies and gadgets. lol

Congrats, enjoy it and try to stay out of trouble.

Ain't that the truth,
friggin money pit..
Just ordered my custom crash bars today...
oh yea, Congrats.
what's the first thing you're gonna put on her besides yourself?

Throttle thing. Hurts my wrist to ride. Face was fine. Put my left glove above my glasses, thats the only place it was getting me. First accessories might be a full facer. That modular thing looked good at the Honda shop. Stopped in for some of that Honda wax. Really sucked for the first ride. Just bad timing. We are getting to know each other. Start her every day. The first real ride is gon'a warm. Suppose to snow tonight.
Hey thanks to all for the help on everything. I know ya'll helped me make a great decision. Kerry and I will be looking forward to meeting everyone in Magie Vally. It's right around the corner.
See ya
Ken Smith

Congrats Captain Ken!

A word of advice... do not buy a "cheap" helmet of any kind. You get what you pay for, so if protecting your coconut is important to you, find a good deal on a quality lid.

This site has some outrageous prices on very high quality goods. The Bell Star is the best of the best in my opinion, but the ones sold here (older models) will run a size large:

28 Street Helmets 40-70 Percent Off in stock at discount prices, including the HJC, Scorpion FS-10 Fossil Helmet, EXO 700 Helmet - Scorpion Chameleon, EXO 700 Helmet - Scorpion Gloss, EXO 700 Helmet - Scorpion Matte.

Hellraiser, I have an old helmet, but its full of mouse crap, Phil I'm looking for a modular and didn't see one on that sight. I'm sure that they are there I just have to look. Great deals on helmets if anyone is looking for one. I guess this old naugon is still worth protecting. Hellfire it was still sitting on the floor, I put the only miles it has on it. 15 three plus all Ken***ee State taxes. They still had a 2009 Classic, new! Well I did a lot of year round ridding up to ten years ago, and now its just for pleasure. Can't wait for warm weather.

When I bought mine the dealer only had an '07 Touring on the floor and was waiting for a black '08 Standard to arrive. Two other guys had been waiting weeks for it to come in. When I came back from test riding the Touring, a delivery truck had arrived and was unloading the crate. Someone must have called the guys waiting for it and told them it was in. One of them was yelling at the owner all pissed off because it was already sold to me while in the crate.
And two years later the same '07 Touring I test rode was still on the showroom floor August 2010 sitting right next to a '10 Roadster with a sold sign on it. Funny how one sits collecting dust for three years and another sells while still in the box.
